Luigi Manzanares is an attorney-at-law. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked in another boutique IP firm where he handled trademark and patent matters. He also previously worked in a general practice law firm where he gained experience in the areas of civil, labor, criminal, and commercial law. He is also a licensed professional teacher.

Mr. Manzanares is engaged in intellectual property rights prosecution and litigation, as well as data privacy matters. Mr. Manzanares is responsible for the preparation and review of trademark availability opinions and pleadings as well as appearances before the regular courts and the Intellectual Property Office in relation to opposition and cancellation proceedings, and other cases involving intellectual property rights.

Mr. Manzanares graduated from the University of the Philippines in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2021, and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022. He also received a Masters in Education from Miriam College in 2015.
